These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on www.dsiel.org. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.
Disabled Support and Information Exchange Library (DSIEL) is a place for the disabled, carer’s and family of disabled people to obtain/share information and discuss relevant issues.
Debate – by its very definition – requires disagreement. So we will always welcome divergent views and we encourage people to express where they agree and disagree with others.
However, we believe that all comments should seek to add value to the original post. So in order to encourage discussion in an environment that is welcoming and inclusive for the disabled, their family and carer’s, comments will be moderated, and we will remove consistently off-topic remarks and personal or routinely negative or derogatory attacks on the disabled/benefit claimants or other readers or contributors, as well as banning the worst offenders from commenting on the site.
We will immediately remove comments that are deemed to be discriminatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, gratuitous or threatening, and ban those who make such comments.
Comments left should be considered published under the Creative Commons licence and may be reproduced by DSIEL or other third parties. #
